Meet the Man Behind AASCO

A journey through technology, innovation, and digital transformation

Hi, I'm Mr Aamir Shakeel

thank you for taking the time to visit the AASCO website. If you’re here, you probably want to know more about the people behind the work — so let me share my story with you directly.

I completed a Master's in Information Technology and have over 20 years of experience in e-commerce and website design. My journey with technology began in 1999, when I completed my computer hardware course — at a time when the internet was still evolving and experimentation mattered more than shortcuts.

I've seen technology change from the inside. I worked through the era of MS Flash websites, manual FTP uploads, and early HTML and JavaScript projects. I remember spending hours discussing new and upcoming technologies with my father.

One moment that stays with me is when he bought me my first 32MB USB stick, at a time when I was still using 1.44MB floppy disks.

I witnessed the rise of Google, followed by YouTube, and then Facebook, which transformed how people interacted online — from early communities to social games like Cafe World that changed digital engagement.

Having lived through each phase, I don't just follow trends — I research them, test them, and understand their real impact.

Alongside this, I've designed and delivered websites for a wide range of organisations, including businesses, law firms, and restaurants.

Teaching & Professional Experience

Along the way, I've also worked as an IT instructor, teaching IT subjects in schools and colleges. Teaching helped me learn how to explain complex ideas in a simple, practical way — something my clients genuinely appreciate. I've also worked with telecom companies, gaining experience with large-scale systems, structure, and service reliability.

AASCO is not just a business name — it carries personal meaning. The idea was inspired by my late father, Shakeel Mir, who believed strongly in technology even in a different generation. As early as 1995, he was working in graphic design using CorelDRAW, at a time when very few people understood computers.

My brother, Ali Shakeel, is also part of that vision. Ali is a highly skilled IT professional, holding multiple degrees in Information Technology, with deep technical expertise and a sharp problem-solving mindset.

Together, AASCO represents the combined experience of three generations of technological thinking — early design roots, deep technical expertise, and modern digital strategy.

I founded AASCO after seeing too many businesses invest in digital services without clarity, understanding, or results. I wanted to build something different — a company that is honest, approachable, and focused on outcomes, not buzzwords.

Personal Philosophy

On a personal note, I'm a simple, easy-going person who genuinely enjoys discussing ideas, planning, and business growth. I'm always open to a conversation, whether it's about strategy, improvement, or exploring new possibilities. I enjoy working with positive, motivated, and energetic people, and I believe the best results always come from collaboration, trust, and clear communication.
